Moradabad Division Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Northern Railway, Aditya Gupta said on Thursday that Moradabad Railway Division has earned a total railway revenue of Rs 146.42 crore in the last month of October, which is higher than the railway revenue of Rs 123.28 crore earned in the month of October 2023 last year. 18.77 percent more.
Senior DCM further said that the division is moving on the path of continuous development and is providing good services to its passengers and traders, as a result of which the division is also getting continuous increase in railway revenue. The division booked 44.62 lakh passengers in the month of October 2024. This is 13.98 percent more passengers booked in the month of October 2023 compared to last year at 39.15 lakh. Railway revenue of Rs 69.96 crore has been earned by passenger book in the month of October 2024. This is 5.47 percent more than the railway revenue of Rs 66.33 crore earned in the month of October 2023 relative to the previous year. Railway revenue of Rs 61.22 crore has been earned from freight in the month of October 2024. This is 30.61 percent more than the railway revenue of Rs 46.87 crore earned in the month of October 2023 relative to last year.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Aditya Gupta said that railway revenue of Rs 7.93 crore has been earned from miscellaneous income in the month of October 2024. This is 225.36% more than the railway revenue of Rs 2.44 crore earned in the month of October ’23 relative to last year. Railway revenue of Rs 7.31 crore has been earned from other income in the month of October 2024.
