Moradabad, 30 April (HIST). A spare parts seller of Mainather police station area of the district told in his complaint to the police station that an accused swindler, posing as a wholesale spare parts seller of Delhi, defrauded him of Rs 1.82 lakh. The victim shopkeeper told that when he asked for his money from the accused, he threatened to kill him. The police station has started investigation into the case registered against the accused Ravindra on Tuesday on the complaint of the victim.
Ghulam Rabbani, a resident of Allahpur Bhikan of Mainather, said in the complaint letter given to the police that Ghulam Rabbani has a shop of vehicle spare parts in Dingarpur. In August 2023, Ravindra son of Sundar, resident of A 582/3 Shastri Nagar police station Sarai Ulla Delhi, came to Ghulam Rabbani's shop posing as a wholesaler of spare parts.
It is alleged that the accused, calling himself a wholesaler of spare parts, started saying that after sending the parts, the shopkeeper Ghulam Rabani got influenced by his words. To order the goods, 40 thousand rupees were deposited in Ravindra's account on 12th August and 50 thousand rupees were deposited in Ravindra's account on 16th August. By doing this, shopkeeper Ghulam Rabbani gave Rs 1 lakh 82 thousand to Ravindra, but the order for the goods did not reach. When Ghulam Rabbani was asked to send the goods to Ravindra, he first started making excuses. But he did not send the goods for many days. Later, the accused refused to give money to the victim and started threatening to kill him.
The victim shopkeeper had complained to the police against the accused and demanded action. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused Ravindra and started investigation.
