Moradabad: 1876 candidates left the police recruitment exam on the first day


Moradabad, 17 February (HS). Police constable recruitment examination was conducted in two shifts at 54 examination centers in Moradabad on Saturday. A total of 1876 candidates remained absent in both the shifts on the first day. During the examination of both the shifts, District Magistrate Manvendra Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Hemraj Meena along with various police and administrative officers and Sector Magistrate also inspected the examination centres.

District School Inspector Dr. Arun Kumar Dubey said that today the police constable recruitment examination was conducted in two shifts at 54 examination centers in the district. In which the first shift examination was held from 10 am to 12 noon. The second shift examination was conducted under strict surveillance from 3 pm to 5 pm. A total of 50352 candidates were registered in both the shifts, out of which 48776 candidates appeared for the exam and 1876 candidates remained absent.

DIOS further informed that 25176 candidates were registered in the first shift at 54 examination centres, out of which 24278 candidates were present and 898 candidates were absent. In the second shift, 25176 candidates were registered, out of which 24198 candidates were present and 978 candidates were absent.
