According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Center (IMD), the pace of monsoon is going to increase once again in the state from today. Due to the activation of the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, there is every possibility of heavy rains in many parts of the state, due to which there will be a huge drop in the temperature.

Monsoon will be seen in full force in these districts including Ranchi and Gumla.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert especially for the central and southern districts like the capital Ranchi, Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, Lohardaga and Ramgarh. There are dense clouds in these areas since this morning and there is a strong possibility of torrential rain with thunderstorms after noon. Meteorologists say that this activity of monsoon may continue for the next 48 to 72 hours, due to which the faces of the farmers have lit up and the work of sowing paddy is also expected to speed up.

Meteorological Department cautioned about thunder and lightning

Amidst the relief from rain, the Meteorological Department has also issued a big warning. According to IMD, there is a strong possibility of severe thunderstorms and lightning along with strong winds in many parts of the state during the rains. Especially people working in rural areas and farms have been advised to be extremely cautious. The Meteorological Department has issued guidelines saying that during bad weather, people should not take shelter under tall trees, electric poles and stay in safe places only.

Weather patterns will change in Kolhan and Santal Pargana also

Apart from the capital and central Jharkhand, widespread impact of monsoon will also be seen in Jamshedpur, Chaibasa of Kolhan division and Deoghar, Dumka, Godda districts of Santal Pargana. Light to moderate rain along with cold winds are expected in these districts also. Due to this sudden change in the weather, people will get complete relief from the humid heat that has been going on for the last several days. Overall, today the entire Jharkhand is completely ready to be drenched in monsoon showers.
