Monsoon will arrive in Uttar Pradesh on June 22, there will be heavy rain

Kanpur, 23 May (HS). Due to better conditions of marine activities, monsoon is advancing from the Bay of Bengal. It is expected that there will be monsoon rains in Uttar Pradesh from June 22 and there is a possibility of more than normal rainfall. Before this, pre-monsoon activities will continue, due to which the temperature will drop. Along with this, there will be showers along with thunder and on Thursday there were local showers in eastern Uttar Pradesh. However, such a situation will arise in Central and Western Uttar Pradesh after three-four days.

Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agricultural Technology meteorologist Dr. S N Sunil Pandey said on Thursday that some parts of the southern Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, some parts of the eastern center Bay of Bengal are likely to advance. Circumstances are becoming good for this. A low pressure over the south-west and adjacent West Central Bay of Bengal has moved in the north-east direction. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. This cyclonic circulation is likely to move northeastwards and concentrate into a depression over central parts of the Bay of Bengal by the morning of 24 May. It may continue to move in north-east direction.

It may then intensify and reach the north-east and north-west Bay of Bengal by the evening of 25 May. A cyclonic wind area is formed over south-east Rajasthan. A trough line is extending from the cyclonic circulation formed over south-east Rajasthan through the central parts of Madhya Pradesh to Jharkhand. A north-south trough is extending from the cyclonic circulation over south-east Rajasthan to east Vidarbha passing through south-west Madhya Pradesh.

He said that a cyclonic circulation lies 3.1 to 5.8 km above sea level over Bangladesh and adjoining West Bengal. A cyclonic circulation over South Kerala extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level. Due to these weather activities, pre-monsoon winds are coming from eastern Uttar Pradesh to the central region. Due to this, there will be movement of clouds in the sky and the temperature will drop. There is a possibility of thunder, lightning and showers at the local level. In such a situation, the temperature will drop but due to moisture in the atmosphere, the sultry heat will increase.

He said that the maximum temperature in Kanpur was recorded at 38.4 and the minimum temperature at 28.6 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in the morning was 60 and the relative humidity in the afternoon was 42 percent. The wind direction was north-east with an average speed of 10.4 km per hour. According to the weather forecast, there are chances of light clouds in the next five days but there is no possibility of rain. The humid heat is likely to continue.
