Monsoon havoc in Jharkhand: Alert issued for heavy rain and thunderstorms today in several districts, including Ranchi and Dhanbad.

The people of Jharkhand are going to get great relief from the scorching heat. Monsoon has once again become fully active in the state, due to which the Meteorological Department has predicted torrential rains in a large part of the state today. According to the latest forecast of Weather Center Ranchi, today there will be dark clouds in the sky in many major districts including the capital Ranchi and Koyalanchal Dhanbad and a period of heavy rain along with thunder and lightning will begin.

Ranchi and Dhanbad are cloudy since morning, heavy rain expected in afternoon

Cold winds have been blowing in the capital Ranchi and surrounding areas since morning and the movement of clouds continues. According to meteorologists, the low pressure area and cyclonic circulation formed in the Bay of Bengal is having a direct impact on the weather of Jharkhand. Due to its effect, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ramgarh and Jamshedpur may receive heavy rains with strong winds after noon. Due to this monsoon rain, there will be a big drop in temperature, due to which people will get complete relief from the humid heat.

Warning of lightning and strong storm in many districts

Along with rain, the Meteorological Department has issued a special alert of thunderstorm and lightning for many sensitive districts of the state. There is a possibility of strong winds with a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in Santhal Pargana and parts of North Jharkhand. The weather center has appealed to the general public to stay away from tall trees, electric poles and kutcha houses during inclement weather. Especially farmers have been instructed to avoid going to the fields when clouds are thundering and take shelter in safe places.

This monsoon rain will become a lifeline for farming.

Due to this speed of monsoon in Jharkhand, maximum happiness is being seen on the faces of the farmers. Paddy planting was being affected due to less rain in June and early July, but today’s widespread rain will provide ample water to the fields. Agricultural experts believe that if such heavy rains continue in the state for the next few days, then the crop yield this season could be much better. This will also see a big improvement in the water level in rural and urban areas.
