Monsoon has reached all the districts of Madhya Pradesh, rain alert in 11 districts including Bhopal-Gwalior today

Bhopal, June 28 (HS). Monsoon has covered the entire state of Madhya Pradesh in the last 7 days. On Thursday also, heavy rains occurred in more than 15 districts including Bhopal, Gwalior, Dhar, Ujjain. Due to which the temperature has dropped. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain in 11 districts including Bhopal, Gwalior today on Friday. While there will be storm, thunder and clouds in the rest of the districts of the state including Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain.

Meteorologist Arun Sharma said that the rain will continue in the state for the next few days. Western disturbance, trough line and cyclonic circulation system are active. Due to this, there was a spell of rain in the western part of the state on Thursday. Similar weather will continue for the next few days.

Earlier on Thursday, it rained in many districts including Bhopal and Ujjain. Khajuraho recorded the highest rainfall of 1.7 inches, while Dhar and Naugaon recorded more than 1 inch of rain. Half an inch of water fell in Bhopal in 1 hour. Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Satna, Gwalior, Narmadapuram, Pachmarhi, Raisen, Ratlam and Ujjain also received rain. It also rained in Dhar. The mercury here at night was 24.8 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature during the day was 25.8 degrees. A drop of 7.2 degrees was recorded in the day temperature in Dhar. Similar situation prevailed in Pachmarhi. The temperature here at night was 27 degrees while it was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius during the day.

Due to rain in the capital Bhopal, the day temperature was recorded at 33.5 degrees. So far, 9.5 inches of water has fallen in Bhopal, which is 4.3 inches more than the quota of June. The weather department has issued an alert of heavy rain for the next 4 days as well. There may be rain with thunder and lightning on Friday. This will also increase the rainfall figure. On the other hand, the temperature was 35.5 degrees in Indore, 34.6 degrees in Gwalior, 36.7 degrees in Jabalpur and 35.5 degrees in Ujjain. The highest temperature of 39.5 degrees was recorded in Bijawar of Chhatarpur while the mercury was recorded above 38 degrees in Khajuraho, Umaria, Sidhi, Satna and Damoh.
