Monsoon alert..! Megharaj will throw tantrums..! Heavy rains are predicted in many states for the next 5 days

The southwest monsoon is progressing and has registered its effective presence in most of the states of the country. Monsoon has advanced in some other parts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, monsoon has also arrived in some parts of south-eastern Rajasthan and southern parts of western Uttar Pradesh. Heavy rains are occurring at many places in the country.

The weather department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains over the west coast and northeast India during the next 4-5 days. It also said that conditions are likely to become favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into the rest of west, central and east India and some parts of northwest India during the next 3-4 days.

There is a possibility of cyclone in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and eastern Rajasthan by 26-29 June, eastern Uttar Pradesh by 26-29 June, western Uttar Pradesh and the capital Delhi by 27-29 June, Haryana by 28 and 29 June and Punjab by 29 June. Apart from this, heavy rains have also been predicted at some places. Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on 28 and 29 June.
