Kanpur, 06 November (HS). The allegations that were leveled against Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) till now were put on hold after a few days. The reason behind this was that the accusers were not able to muster the courage to come forward or they were managed. But this time it will be difficult to understand former minister Mohsin Raza who has made the allegations. Due to this, there was a stir in UPCA regarding the letter that came to UPCA Secretary regarding the allegations made by him. Former cricket player Mohsin Raza has not only accused UPCA of corruption and irregularities but has also accused it of extortion from players. Even the recovery rates from players have been disclosed. Not only this, Mohsin Raza has also complained to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, due to which UPCA fears that the entire matter may not be investigated.

-Complaint made to the Chief Minister

In this regard, former cricketer Mohsin Raza has met Chief Minister Yogi and complained about the corruption going on in the UP Cricket Association and the involvement of a big Congress leader is said to be involved. Mohsin Raza said that the nature of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association has been changed in the last few years. He said that he has also been a cricketer in the past and he has never given any money nor is he a supporter of it. Many parents contacted him regarding complaints of corruption in UPCA and informed him about the situation. When information was taken on this through RTI, it was found that this is not the same organization under which cricketers used to play in the past. There is a board of directors in this and a big Congress leader is involved in this, who moved ahead with the support of Jyoti Bajpai, the then secretary of UP Cricket Association, in the year 2005. After this, he himself took over the association by converting it into a private limited and also showed Late Bajpayee the way out. It is obvious that whatever is the character of Congress, its leaders will also do the same. After this, the youth of the state were misled by forming a private limited company.

-Income tax notice of more than 100 crores

It is alleged that his PA, who is said to be very close to the Congress leader, plays the whole game. To feed cricket to children, money is taken from them and they are exploited. Many similar cases have come to light. Mohsin Raza told that when BCCI asked him why did he form the company? On this he said that he could not cooperate with the state government, hence he formed a private limited company. This claim of his also proved to be false. The same government with which they mentioned bad relations, gave them the Green Park Stadium of Kanpur on lease for 30 years. This question arose when the Lodha Committee report came and it was said that BCCI and all the cricket associations of the state were to run on the basis of this report. UP Cricket Association Limited Company says that it runs on no profit, no loss. He has no income but owes more than Rs 100 crore to the Income Tax Department. If there was no profit then why did this income tax notice come to them?

-Money is collected from the players

Mohsin Raza alleged that this has proved that the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association has gone off its track. Government properties are being exploited in a ruthless manner. The future of children is being played with, which will not be allowed to happen now. He has also revealed the fees charged by cricketers to be included in the team. Which are as follows. Rs 6 lakh is charged for selection in the Under-16 team, Rs 20 lakh for playing in the Under-19, Rs 30 lakh for playing in the Under-23 team, and Rs 30 to 50 lakh for playing in Ranji. Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association Secretary Arvind Srivastava said on Wednesday that the letter sent by Mohsin Raza has not been seen completely yet. Couldn't read the letter today due to busyness. A detailed response on this topic will be given only after studying the letter. Nothing much can be said on this topic right now.
