Bhopal, July 31 (HS). The Mohan government in Madhya Pradesh seems committed to providing equal opportunities to all the children of the state and to give them quality education. That is why the government is constantly making extensive efforts to improve the education system. In the last six months, the government has locked 57 madrasas in the state. In the latest case, the recognition of 56 madrasas in Sheopur district of the state has been canceled simultaneously. The District Education Officer had exposed many flaws related to all these madrasas in his report and had requested the government to close them. Earlier, a madrasa was closed in Badarwas of Shivpuri after being found illegal in a raid by the MP Child Commission.
In fact, the education officer of Sheopur district found in his investigation that all these madrasas are taking all the financial benefits given by the government, but by playing with the quality of education, they are playing with the future of the children and drowning their future in darkness. In such a situation, when they were not found to be operating as per the rules, he sent a detailed report to the state government and requested to close all these madrasas. Out of these 56 closed madrasas, 2 are also unrecognized illegal madrasas. It has come to light in these closed madrasas that the children were taught here and the kind of arrangements found here had many objectionable things, due to which a letter was written to the government to stop the operation of these madrasas.
There are many names of children in madrasas who never come to study
In this regard, Dr. Nivedita Sharma, a member of the Madhya Pradesh State Child Protection Commission (SCPCR), said that I had recently visited Sheopur Kalan. During my other scheduled programs, I also visited the residential school and madrasa. When I investigated the madrasa, I found out that the madrasa operators were acting arbitrarily. They keep Fridays a holiday, while they hold madrasa classes on Sundays and distribute Friday's midday meal on Sunday. Madrasas have admissions of children who never come to the madrasa to study. Along with this, the names of those children have been registered in the government-recognized board exams, who will never appear for the exams. People between 23 and 28 years of age are also being declared class eight students. On asking for information, their correct information is not given. It is said that classes from one to eight are being conducted in one hall. Only one toilet was found for both girls and boys.
Religious education (of Allah) is also being imparted to Hindu children
Not only this, a large number of non-Hindu children are getting admission, they are also being taught the Deen-e-Taleem of Islam without the permission of their parents. What is being taught in that is also very objectionable. Hindu children are being taught books like “Talimul Islam”. When I read this book, it is written in it that “I have faith in Allah and his angels and his books and his messengers and the Day of Judgement”.
She says, in this book it is written that 'those who do not believe in Allah are called Kafirs'. Then somewhere it is written that those who worship other things besides Khuda Ta'ala, such people are called Kafirs and Mushriks. Mushriks will not be spared.' There are other books like this in which a lot of things are written which do not influence the minds of children at least to create a harmonious society.
The effect of the strictness of the State Child Protection Commission is visible
Dr. Nivedita Sharma also says that should this education be given to Hindu children? Or to any child whose mind is filled with the idea that those who do not believe in God will not be spared. That is, only those who believe in God are good and true and the rest are wrong. That is why the Child Commission has objections to the arbitrariness of Madrasas. Certainly, cancelling the recognition of 56 such Madrasas in the state can be considered a big step of the School Education Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh in this direction. This step of the state government is also an important step towards bringing transparency and accountability in the education sector. This decision taken by the government today seems to ensure that all the children of Madhya Pradesh get quality education, the state government is determined for this.
A special report of Sheopur District Education Officer was sent to the School Education Department
He said that the government stops all activities that play with the lives of children, so it is a matter of happiness for all of us. When we wanted to know about the report given to the government by Sheopur district's education officer Ravindra Singh Tomar, he said, “In the investigation, sometimes children were not found and sometimes the condition of mismanagement was bad. When the madrasa operator was asked for an explanation on this, he too could not give a satisfactory answer. This was like making a joke with the future of the children, so a detailed report was prepared and sent to the government, after which now the Madhya Pradesh Madrasa Board has directed to cancel the recognition of these madrasas.
Following the instructions of the board, Sheopur District Education Officer Tomar also issued orders to cancel the recognition of 56 madrasas on Tuesday. It has also come to light in the investigation that the names of such children are registered in the madrasas who have left the madrasas many years ago and there are also many names of those who are doing jobs. But not only the grants received from the government were being availed in their names but also the benefits of other schemes of the state government were being availed.
This will be the condition of all those madrasas where the rules of the government are not followed – Education Minister
After the action taken in Sheopur district, Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh says that instructions have been given to check the physical verification of all madrasas operating in the state. Now, if the madrasas do not follow the rules of the government and do not have the necessary arrangements for the children, then it is natural that action will be taken to cancel their recognition as per the rules. He has said that all children should get quality education and they should get the benefit of all the schemes of the state government. On the other hand, Madhya Pradesh Madrasa Board has also taken a tough stand in this matter. The board has instructed all the district education officers to inspect the madrasas operating in their area and take action to cancel the recognition of those madrasas which are not found to be operating as per the rules.
There are 1505 recognized madrasas in Madhya Pradesh, the number of Hindu children in them is 9427
It is noteworthy that in Madhya Pradesh, the government itself has found that 9427 Hindu children are studying in 1505 recognized madrasas, whereas as per the rules, no madrasa has taken any permission to provide them Deenitalim. In the Sheopur district of the state alone, a total of 80 recognized madrasas were operating, out of which 54 were getting grants from the state government. At the same time, there are 02 unrecognized madrasas in which it was decided to close them after huge irregularities.
In the corruption case in Madhya Pradesh's madrasas, names of some Hindu students have come to light through the media who were said to be studying in madrasas. Out of Manav Goyal, Priya Mittal and Jyotsna Goyal, Manav Goyal is currently a software engineer. Priya Mittal and Jyotsna Goyal are doctors, but their names have been found written among those taking government mid-day meals. Similarly, there are many other names, whose physical verification will reveal whether they are studying in madrasas or not. At present, no madrasa operator seems ready to say anything in this matter.
