Ranchi: Campaigning for the assembly elections is increasing in Jharkhand. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plane suffered a technical glitch at Deoghar Airport in Jharkhand, after which arrangements for another plane were made. When the helicopter of Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi got stuck in Godda, Jharkhand. After which Congress alleged that Rahul’s helicopter was not being approved because of Narendra Modi’s meeting.

After campaigning in Bihar’s Jamui, Narendra Modi arrived at Deoghar airport in nearby Jharkhand to return to Delhi, from where he was scheduled to leave for Delhi in an Indian Air Force aircraft. However, the plane meant to carry him developed a technical snag, so another plane was arranged in which he flew to Delhi. Deoghar Deputy Commissioner Vishal Sagar said that Narendra Modi had to wait for two hours at Deoghar airport. The entire area was declared a no-fly zone while Modi waited for a solution.

On the other hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s helicopter had to wait for two hours as it did not get approval from the air traffic controller. The incident took place in Mahagama, Jharkhand. However, after two hours, Rahul’s helicopter was allowed to take off. A media report quoting sources claimed that there was a delay in getting approval for Rahul Gandhi’s helicopter due to Narendra Modi’s rally in Jamui, Bihar. Jharkhand minister and Congress leader Deepika Pandey said that Rahul Gandhi had to wait in the helicopter for an hour as he was about to address a rally here, it is understandable why BJP did this.
