Modi's guarantee is that village women will also become millionaires: Nirmala Sitharaman

Patna/Chhapra (Bihar), 05 March (HS). Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday distributed loans and grants worth more than Rs 1000 crore among hundreds of beneficiaries in Chapra, Bihar. On this occasion, Sitharaman asked people why village women cannot become millionaires? Also said that Modi's guarantee is that village women will also become millionaires. For this, the Central Government has started many schemes.

Referring to the 'Drone Didi' scheme, Nirmala Sitharaman said that now village women are taking care of their fields through drones. They are also being given training for this. The Union Finance Minister had today reached the Jaiprakash University campus in Chapra to participate in the Credit Office program.

For the first time in Bihar, a beneficiary conference was organized on such a large scale, in which the Finance Minister herself also participated. Stalls were set up by various banks in this program. Finance Minister Sitharaman inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, MP Rajeev Pratap Rudy was also present along with Giriraj Singh and MP Janardan Singh Aggarwal.

In this beneficiary conference, the Union Finance Minister released Rs 41.76 crore among 170 beneficiaries of housing loan, Rs 38.98 crore among 209 beneficiaries of vehicle loan, Rs 2.51 crore among 36 beneficiaries of education loan, Rs 202.77 crore among 6,565 beneficiaries of other retail loan, Rs 922 crore of currency loan 32.36 crore among beneficiaries, 2.28 crore among 34 beneficiaries of Stand-up India, 1.65 crore among 751 beneficiaries of PM Swanidhi, 11.91 crore among 128 beneficiaries of PMEGP, 98.56 crore among 829 beneficiaries of other MSME loans, 1,746 of KCC (Corporation). Rs 17.38 crore has been given to beneficiaries, Rs 2.46 crore has been given to 158 beneficiaries of KCC (AHD and Fisheries), Rs 267.98 has been given to 10,420 beneficiaries of SHG, Rs 266.13 has been given to 12,542 beneficiaries of other agricultural loans and Rs 95.85 crore has been given to 3,994 beneficiaries of other loans.

On the occasion, Fire Brand leader Giriraj Singh started his speech with the slogan of Jai Shri Ram and said that Prime Minister Modi's priority is to empower women. Local MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guarantee means the promise of 100 percent completion of the work. Modi government started many beneficial schemes during its tenure. The public has also played an important role in nation building by making these schemes successful.
