Modi-Putin's emotional exchange ahead of BRICS summit: Focus on Ukraine

Kazan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed at the airport by top Russian officials when he arrived here today to attend the BRICS summit. We clearly believe that disputes can only be resolved peacefully and we support every effort to establish peace and stability as soon as possible. Relations between Russia and India are developing rapidly. Moscow appreciates India's role in BRICS. Actually, India itself has established this alliance with Russia. Now five new members have joined it. With this, 41 percent of the world has joined this group. Its contribution to the world economy is 25 percent. These ten countries contribute more than 18 percent to world trade.

Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa are the core nations of BRICS. This includes Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates January. Are connected from 2024. India has a huge contribution in including them in BRICS.
