Lok Sabha Elections 2024: A video has surfaced of ruling party YSRCP MLA P Ramakrishna Reddy being threatened at a polling booth in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. When did the incident happen?
The incident is of 13th May. The Election Commission said, we have handed over the video to the police and have asked them to help in the investigation. Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh said in a statement that an incident of EVM tampering was reported at polling booth number 202 and 7 of Machharla assembly constituency. From here, sitting MLA P Ramakrishna Reddy was recorded on web camera throwing the EVM on the ground. Went. Instruct DGP to take strict action

Opposition leader and Telugu Desam Party national general secretary Nara Lokesh alleged that the MLA from Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's party tried to break the EVM due to fear of defeat in the elections. He also shared a video of the alleged incident on X.
