Ranchi, 08 April (Hindus). Badkagaon MLA Amba Prasad and her brother Ankit Raj reached the ED regional office on Monday. After this, ED officials are interrogating both of them. During this, while talking to the reporters, Amba said that she will cooperate with the ED in the investigation. They are not at all afraid that the investigation should be fair. He said that Saman's tour was going on amidst the Lok Sabha elections, hence it was not possible to contest the Lok Sabha elections. Amba Prasad told that he had asked for 15 days' time from ED but due to lack of time, he had to appear today.
Earlier both had not appeared before the ED and had sought 15 days' time from the ED. As ED did not give time, both of them appeared before ED on Monday. Earlier on April 3, ED had interrogated Amba's father and former minister Yogendra Sao. ED has registered ECIR against Amba and her family members by combining the FIRs lodged in various police stations of Hazaribagh. It is noteworthy that on March 12, ED had raided 20 places including that of MLA Amba Prasad regarding extortion, illegal sand mining and land grabbing. During the raid, Rs 35 lakh, digital devices, fake tickets of circle offices, banks etc and various incriminating documents in the form of hand written receipts, diaries etc were recovered and seized.
