New Delhi, July 15 (HS). Mixed signals are coming from the global market today. During the last session, the US markets closed strongly. Dow Jones Futures is also seen trading with gains today. Similarly, the European markets also closed in the green mark after making profits during the last session. But pressure is seen in the Asian market today.
There was an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the American market for the third consecutive day during the last session, due to which the Wall Street index closed with strength. The S & P 500 index closed at 5,615.35 points with a gain of 0.55 percent. Similarly, the Nasdaq jumped 115.04 points or 0.63 percent to end the last session at 18,398.45 points. Dow Jones Futures is currently seen trading at 40,070.74 points with a gain of 0.18 percent.
Like the American market, the European market also remained strong during the last session. The FTSE index closed at 8,252.91 points with a gain of 0.36 percent. Similarly, the CAC index jumped 1.26 percent and ended the last session at 7,724.32 points. Apart from this, the DAX index jumped 213.62 points or 1.14 percent and closed at 18,748.18 points.
There is generally a pressure situation in Asian markets today. Out of 9 Asian markets, 6 indices are trading in red with a decline, while 2 indices are in green with an increase. There is no change in the Nikkei index today due to a holiday in Tokyo Stock Exchange. GIFT Nifty is trading at the level of 24,610 points with a gain of 0.26 percent. Similarly, the Shanghai Composite Index has currently reached the level of 2,974.48 points with a gain of 0.11 percent.
On the other hand, Taiwan Weighted Index is trading at 23,874.57 points with a weakness of 0.18 percent. Similarly, Kospi Index has slipped 0.11 percent to reach 2,852.21 points. There has been a big decline in Hang Seng Index today. Currently, this index is trading at 18,038.56 points, down 254.82 points or 1.41 percent. Apart from this, SET Composite Index is trading at 1,325.14 points with a weakness of 0.52 percent, Jakarta Composite Index is trading at 7,304.40 points with a decline of 0.32 percent and Straits Times Index is trading at 3,497.37 points with a symbolic weakness of 0.01 percent.
