The story is very inspiring for the youth
Arpit Gupta's story of struggle is very inspiring, which teaches the youth to do something good. Arpit Gupta's journey begins with a big failure. Often people start cursing their fate after failure, but Arpit Gupta never made this mistake. He believes that any defeat is not due to our fate, but due to our lack of preparation.

Studied in Uttar Pradesh
Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Arpit Gupta's father worked in the railways. Arpit Gupta completed his studies from CM City Gorakhpur. After this, he completed his engineering degree from IIT Roorkee. Then worked as a financial market analyst for some time. Despite a good job, Arpit Gupta could not give up his aspirations of becoming a civil servant and decided to go to Delhi to prepare for the UPSC exam.

He qualified for the Mains in September 2019 with one point remaining.
Started his UPSC journey. He appeared for the exam for the first time in the year 2020. His health suddenly deteriorated in the first stage of the UPSC Civil Services Examination, but he cleared the prelims. An even bigger challenge was waiting for Arpit Gupta.

Before the main exam, he got chicken pox. Despite high fever, he gave the main exam but failed by just one mark. Thus, he could not make it to the interview round in the first attempt. Arpit Gupta also broke down after losing one mark and cried a lot, but did not let his confidence drop and started preparing again.

Cracking UPSC at the age of 24
While preparing for his second attempt, he lost his cousin, but he did not let it affect his preparation. At the age of just 24, Arpit Gupta passed the exam in his second attempt. Arpit Gupta succeeded in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2021 and secured 54th rank, showing that hardworking people definitely achieve their goal.
