Chatra, June 29 (HS). State Labor, Employment-Training and Industry Minister Satyanand Bhokta reached Chatra on Saturday on a three-day tour. He participated in the program organized at Chatra Sadar Block Office. Subdivision Officer Surendra Oraon welcomed the minister. After this, the minister inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.
On the occasion, the minister said that the Jharkhand government is very sensitive. It is running hundreds of welfare schemes for the poor. It is the government's priority to extend the benefits of welfare schemes to the people at the bottom of the society. He said that women between 21 and 50 years of age in Jharkhand will get a pension of Rs 1,000 per month.
The minister said that the proposal to provide 200 units of free electricity has been approved by the cabinet. This is a historic decision in the whole country. Our government is doing better work in every field. Youths have been linked to employment on a large scale in government and non-government institutions. Forty thousand young men and women will be linked to government jobs in the coming four months. Acceptance letters for many public welfare schemes including Abuwa Awas, Sarvajan Pension Scheme, Labour Department Registration Card, Job Card, Scholarship Scheme, Bicycle Distribution Scheme, Goat Distribution Scheme, Milk Cow under Gavya Vikas Scheme and assets worth crores of rupees were distributed among the eligible beneficiaries.
Present in the program were Block Development Officer Harinath Mahato, District Council Member Chandradev Gop, Minister Representative Ajay Ram, Minister Representative Vinod Singh, 20-point Block Vice President Upendra Dangi, Mukhiya Guddu Dubey, Mukhiya Anita Yadav, Mukhiya Lalita Kumari, Mukhiya Amita Kachhap, social worker Ajay Yadav and many other dignitaries.
