Ahmedabad News: A high level meeting was held today at Ahmedabad City Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Home Affairs to resolve traffic problems in Ahmedabad city. High officials of Home Department, Director General of Police and Chief Police Officer, Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Ahmedabad City and Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City were present in this meeting.
Minister Harsh Sanghvi directed the Ahmedabad Police Commissioner and Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner to visit various places to find out the traffic problems and its solution and the Deputy Police Commissioner and Zonal Officer of the Mahanagar Palika to hold a meeting every 15 years to find out the solution to the problem. Request was made to resolve the traffic related problems.
Apart from this, the meeting of the Police Commissioner and the Municipal Corporation Commissioner is to be held every month and the Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Development Department and the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department will hold a review meeting every two months and submit a report to the Home Minister.
