Minister of State for Energy Hiralal Nagar said in the State Legislative Assembly on Thursday that the State Government has operated power generation plants at higher capacity through efficient management. He said that if the previous government had not entered into banking agreements with other states and agencies, the people of the State would not have to face the problem of power cuts.
The Minister of State for Energy was responding to the matter raised by Bundi MLA Harimohan Sharma through a slip in the Zero Hour. Presenting a comparative statement in the House, he said that the PLF (Plant Load Factor) was 49.82 percent in April 2019, while it was 73.96 percent in April 2024. Similarly, the PLF was 58.89 percent in May 2019, which increased to 71.98 percent in May 2024. At the same time, the PLF was 67.62 percent in June 2019, while it was 73.64 percent in June 2024.
