Bhopal, June 27 (HS). Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah conducted a surprise inspection of the Van Chetna Kendra in Umaria district on Thursday. During the inspection, he expressed displeasure over the arrangements and directed to bring immediate improvement in the arrangements of the center. He talked about expanding this Van Chetna Kendra and providing low budget facilities to middle class families and needy people of tribal areas in the Tiger Reserve.
Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Shah said that Madhya Pradesh's foundation day is celebrated on November 1. This year, a trade fair should be organized in Bandhavgarh from November 1 to 7 on the foundation day. This will be known as Bandhavgarh Trade Fair. Due to this, domestic and foreign tourists visiting Bandhavgarh will stay for three more days instead of one day and will be able to learn more about tribal art, culture, customs, food and tribal traditions.
During the inspection of the Forest Awareness Centre, Umaria Collector Dharnendra Kumar Jain, Area Director Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve P.K. Verma, Divisional Forest Officer Vivek Singh and other officers and employees were present.
