Dehradun, 16 February (HS). Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat held a review meeting on Bharatiya Janata Party's 'Vision Paper-2022' for the Assembly Elections 2022 at his official residence on Friday. In the meeting, he gave instructions to the departmental officers to fulfill the promises made by the party to the public in the vision document.
The Minister said that the points decided by BJP in the vision document under Medical Health, Medical Education, Higher Education, School Education, Sanskrit Education and Cooperation Department will be implemented soon. Most of the promises of the vision document are being fulfilled by the departments and the general public is being benefited while departmental action is being taken to implement the remaining points on the ground.
Dhan Singh Rawat said that in accordance with the claims set in the vision document, the work of establishing a medical college under the health department and increasing the capacity of medical seats has been completed at the departmental level, while the work of establishing a satellite center of AIIMS Rishikesh in Kumaon is underway. Is in final stage. Soon the local people will get its benefit. In this sequence, the claims of health and wellness centre, appointment of doctors and nursing staff, establishment of dialysis center and Jan Aushadhi center in every district, providing air ambulance service have also been fulfilled. Similarly, implementation of NEP-2020 under higher education, distribution of free tablets to graduate students, incentive amount of Rs. 50,000 to students taking admission in NERF universities, high speed WiFi connectivity in colleges, provision of Rs. Many promises have been fulfilled by the department including incentive amount of Rs 1 lakh to the students.
He said that under the School Education and Sanskrit Education Department, the promises made in the party manifesto are being fulfilled in which most of the points have been completed. The minister said that all the points related to education, health and cooperation departments in the vision document will be completed. In this regard, departmental officers have been instructed to appoint nodal officers in each department for prompt action on the outline of the scheme, who will send progress reports related to their departments to the government from time to time.
