New Delhi, June 7 (HS). Quinton de Kock and David Miller have returned to the Barbados Royals squad for the 2024 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), the franchise announced on Friday. Miller led the team to the top of the points table in the 2022 season, although the franchise has retained Rovman Powell as its captain for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, the Royals have released the overseas trio of Rassie van der Dussen, Donovan Ferreria and Roelof van der Merwe. Mahesh Theekshana, Naveen Ul Haq and Keshav Maharaj will be the other overseas players for the upcoming season.
The Royals have retained Rahkeem Cornwall, Alick Athanaze and Kevin Wickham for this year, with Nyeem Young and Rivaldo Clark, Ramon Simmonds and Obed McCoy also returning to the squad. With 14 players confirmed, they will have three spots to fill in the draft in July.
