Military officers of National Defense College paid courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya

A high level delegation of ‘National Defense College’ (NDC), Ministry of Defense is on a visit to the state to study the industrial and rural development journey of Uttar Pradesh. Senior military and civilian officers of friendly countries including India joined this team, which is receiving training on the subject of “National Security and Strategic Studies”.

Composition of the delegation: The team consists of Brigadier level military officers, senior civil service officers of the level of Joint Secretary/Director of the Government of India and representatives from Sri Lanka, Russia, Nepal, Indonesia and the UK. Like senior military officers of friendly countries are included.

Main topics of discussion: During the meeting, detailed discussions were held with the Deputy Chief Minister on the rural development aspects of the state, industrial progress and the changing infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh.

Statewide tour: This team will visit important places in various districts of the state like Lucknow, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Varanasi (Kashi) till March 20 and take stock of the development works.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, while welcoming the delegation, said that Uttar Pradesh is today moving on the path of development at a rapid pace under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
