Militants set six vehicles on fire in Ranchi, panic in the area

Late on Tuesday night, extremists set fire to six vehicles of Saket Sahu and Balram Sahu at the Damodar river sand ghat located at Chhapar in Budhmu, Jharkhand's capital Ranchi. Extremists set fire to four trolleys, one tractor and one JCB machine used in sand transportation. There is panic in the area due to this incident. The incident of arson has been carried out over levy. At present, no extremist organization has taken responsibility for this.

It is being said that JJMP commander Rahul Turi alias Alokji has carried out this incident. He is associated with the extremist organization Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP). The purpose of this incident is to create an atmosphere of fear and collect levy from the businessmen.

According to the villagers, late on Tuesday night, dozens of vehicles were illegally extracting sand from Chhapar Ghat and loading it into trucks and trucks. During this time, armed men arrived on six bikes. They beat up the workers and chased them away. After this, they set the vehicles on fire.

Budhmu police station in-charge Ramji said that information about the arson has been received but he is on leave. It is noteworthy that sand excavation is going on in Ranchi's Budhmu area despite the ban imposed by NGT.
