Bikaner, March 16 (HS). Migrant Bikaneris, who have shown success in the country and the world, will be made partners in the development of the city and increase in infrastructure facilities. For this, 'Meri Janmabhoomi, Meri Responsibility Campaign' will be run on the initiative of Bikaner (West) MLA Jethanand Vyas. This campaign, working in various phases, will change the face of the city over the next few years.
MLA Vyas said that many people born in Bikaner are bringing glory to Bikaner in the country and the world. These migrant brothers from urban areas hoisted the flag of success in different parts of the world and achieved their unique position. 'Meri Janmabhoomi, Meri Responsibilty Abhiyan' has been envisioned to connect all these migrant Bikaneris with their birthplace and ensure their participation in the all-round development of Bikaner city.
MLA Vyas said that first of all a database of migrant Bikaner city residents living in different areas of the country and the world will be prepared. Under this, Bikaneris living in different areas and various information related to them will be collected. In the second phase, possibilities of development work that can be done with the help of these migrant brothers in urban areas will be seen. Along with development of infrastructure facilities in the field of medicine and education, beautification of urban area, various educational and economic projects will be undertaken with the help of expatriate brothers. Besides, the possibilities of setting up enterprises in Bikaner with the migrant brothers will also be explored, so that there can be industrial development here and the youth can get employment opportunities.
The MLA said that in the third phase, letters will be sent to the migrant brothers inviting them to come to Bikaner and participate in development. After consent, the identified and proposed development works will be started. He said that this year a conference of migrant Bikaneris of urban areas will also be organized, so that local and migrant Bikaneris can have mutual ideological exchange. During this period, various MoUs related to industry and employment will also be signed between the local administration and migrant entrepreneurs.
The MLA said that after the MOU, the desired coordination and cooperation will be provided at the MLA Service Center at the state government or local administration level for setting up an enterprise or other establishment. He said that participation of entrepreneurs, intellectuals and educationists of Bikaner will also be ensured in the campaign.
It is noteworthy that recently an employment and career fair was organized on the initiative of MLA Vyas. Now this campaign is being started in this sequence.
