Michael Jackson was $500 million in debt, revealed 15 years after pop star's death

It has been revealed that world famous pop singer Michael Jackson was $500 million in debt at the time of his death. This has come to light 15 years after Michael Jackson's death.

Several documents have recently been submitted to the court by the executors of Michael Jackson's estate. It states that Michael had a debt of $500 million at the time of his death. This has been mentioned in a document filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County.

It is said that Michael Jackson died due to overdose of some medicines. His personal physician Conrad Murray prescribed some medicines which proved fatal for Michael Jackson. For this, a case of unintentional murder was also registered against Conrad.

At the time of his death, Michael was planning his tour titled This Is This. His sudden death was a major financial blow to the tour sponsors. They sued the executors of Michael's estate for $40 million. Even before his death, there were about 65 cases pending against Michael by creditors in various courts. However, as per the claims of the executors, most of those cases have been settled. The executors have also sought reimbursement of expenses including legal fees from his estate.
