East Champaran, September 14 (HS). Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Prof. Sanjay Srivastava met Nepal's Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba during his Nepal tour.
On this occasion, Prof Srivastava invited Dr Deuba to visit MGCU and discussed possible dimensions of educational cooperation between India and Nepal.
During this, Prof. Sanjay Srivastava underlined the historical and cultural ties between India and Nepal and emphasized the need for strong cooperation in the educational field. He shared his vision to promote mutual development and exchange of knowledge between the two countries through joint educational programs, student exchange schemes and research projects.
On the other hand, Dr. Arzoo Rana Deuba appreciated the efforts of Prof. Srivastava and showed interest in strengthening educational relations. She said that universities like MGCU can play an important role in promoting regional cooperation between the two countries and wider educational opportunities for students.
