MGCU organizes business idea competition Innovate 2024 | News India

East Champaran, 25 September (HS). 'Innovate 2024' business idea competition was organized by the Department of Management Sciences and Internship Cell of Mahatma Gandhi Central University. It was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Srivastava.

In the inaugural address, program coordinator Dr. Sapna Sugandha highlighted the objective and importance of the program and said that this competition is an effort to enhance the professional skills of the students and make their ideas come true. In his presidential address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Srivastava motivated the students to develop new ideas in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship and said that in today's time, creativity and entrepreneurship can play an important role in the overall development of society and the country.

Motihari DM Saurabh Jorwal, who was present as a special guest on the occasion, encouraged the students and stressed on the importance of innovation. The chief speaker, Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Suman Yadav, while sharing his views, said that youth can bring positive change in the society through innovation and entrepreneurship. A total of 72 business ideas were received in the competition. Out of which 10 teams were selected. Who presented their unique and problem-solution based ideas. These ideas included the latest ways to deal with social and environmental problems.

The selected teams presented ideas based on various sectors such as health, education, agriculture, and digital technology, which were extremely important from the point of view of innovation and practical solutions. The jury of the competition included DM Saurabh Jorwal, Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Suman Yadav, and Ramson Plaza CMD Angad Singh. These judges evaluated all the presentations impartially and selected the winners. Rudra Kumar Pandey and his team got the first place in the competition. The team of Himanshu and Navneet was in second place, while Rachit Kanhaiya and Dirgha of the Department of Management Science got the third place.
