Ingredients for making Methi Papad Sabzi
- 1 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- 1 1/2 cup raw papad (cut into pieces)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander-cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1 tablespoon powdered jaggery
- salt to taste

How to make Methi Papad Sabzi
- First, soak the fenugreek seeds in sufficiently hot water for about 30 minutes and strain them.
- Add required amount of water and pressure cook till 3 whistles.
- Filter the remaining water and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add asafoetida and mustard seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add 1 1/2 cups water, coriander-cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, jaggery and salt and mix well.
- Cook it on low flame till the water comes to a boil.
- Add fenugreek seeds and papad and mix well.
- – Now cook it on low flame for another 5-7 minutes.
- Delicious fenugreek papad vegetable is ready.
- Serve it with roti.
