Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains in many states for the next few days. Meanwhile, monsoon has started gaining momentum once again in Himachal Pradesh. Heavy rains are occurring in most of the districts of Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has warned that the weather is going to remain bad in the entire state for the next 6 days. Heavy rains are expected till August 3 and an alert has been issued in 9 districts in this regard.

This will also affect the neighbouring states of Punjab and Haryana. There is a possibility of rain in most areas of Haryana and Punjab till July 31. Due to this, strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. On July 30, IMD has issued a yellow alert in Himachal Pradesh. While an orange alert has been issued on July 31.
After this, a yellow alert has been issued again from August 1 to 3. According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in Sirmaur, Kangra, Bilaspur and Una districts on July 31.

In view of the possibility of heavy rains, the Meteorological Center in Shimla has asked the people of the state as well as tourists to be cautious. People have also been advised not to go near rivers and streams. Let us tell you that monsoon arrived in Himachal Pradesh on June 27. According to the Meteorological Department, till now the monsoon rain has been 33 percent less than normal.

Talking about the impact of monsoon in Haryana, till now only 25 percent rainfall has occurred in Haryana. Haryana has received 113.4 mm rainfall from June 1 to July 27. Whereas the average rainfall is 184.9 mm. There are a total of 16 districts in Haryana where rainfall has been less than normal. Chandigarh Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Punjab and Haryana till July 31.
