Meteorological Department warned of rain in five districts of the state

Raipur, 12 October (HS). The withdrawal of south-west monsoon has started from North Chhattisgarh. Due to its effect, light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Jashpur, Raipur, Gariaband, Dhamtari, Mahasamund today. The weather will remain dry in the rest of the districts of the state.

Southwest monsoon is returning in Chhattisgarh due to which there may be rain in parts of Raipur, Gariaband, Mahasamund, Jashpur and Dhamtari. Whereas the weather will remain clear in most parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a gradual increase in temperature in the state in the coming days. It is cloudy in many parts of Raipur since Friday.

On Friday, the maximum temperature of Raipur was 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was around 25 degrees Celsius. On Friday, Bijapur, Gangalur, Usur, Katekalyan, Dornapal, Jagargunda of Bastar division received 8 to 2 mm of rain.
