Heavy rain is predicted in this state
According to the weather department forecast, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra today (July 28). Heavy rain alert has also been issued in the states of central India. Yellow alert has been issued in Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and northeastern states. Therefore, heavy rain may occur in more than 14 districts of Odisha. At the same time, heavy rain has been predicted in eight districts of Jharkhand.
Highest rainfall recorded in Gujarat
The highest rainfall has been recorded in Gujarat so far. Due to heavy rains, many rivers are in spate. There are flood-like conditions in many districts. Thousands of people have been shifted to safer places. About one lakh people are affected by this. Apart from this, the water level of many reservoirs has increased due to heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh. During the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains have occurred in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. Heavy rains occurred at some places in Madhya Maharashtra, South Rajasthan, North-West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal.
Alert in 6 districts of Uttarakhand
Life in Uttarakhand has been affected due to continuous rain for the last few days. Even today, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Nainital, Dehradun and Uttarkashi.
