Weather Update: Due to rain in many districts of Punjab, the maximum temperature has dropped by 2.6 degrees. Along with this, it has been recorded 4.5 degrees below normal temperature. The highest temperature of 37.7 degrees was recorded in Abohar. Due to which people have got relief from the heat.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of moderate rain in Budhlada, Sardulgarh, Lehra, Mansa, Sunam, Munak, Talbandi Sabo till 9 am today. During this time, strong winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km and lightning will also occur. Apart from this, light rain is expected in Sangrur, Barnala, Tapa, Dhuri, Munak, Samana, Patiala, Nabha, Malout, Bathinda and Rajpura.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in four districts of the state today. These districts include Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr and Rupnagar. There is a possibility of heavy rain. The highest rainfall in the state was recorded in Patiala, 6.5 ml in Ferozepur, 0.5 ml in Moga, 8.0 ml in Mohali and 12.5 ml in Patiala.

Patiala- The maximum temperature on Saturday evening was recorded at 32 degrees. Today it will be cloudy. The temperature is expected to remain between 24 to 29 degrees due to rain.
Jalandhar – Last evening the maximum temperature was recorded at 30.3 degrees. The sky will remain cloudy. There is a possibility of rain today. Today the temperature may remain between 23 to 30 degrees.
Mohali- The maximum temperature on Saturday evening was recorded at 32.7 degrees. The sky will remain cloudy. Rain is expected. Today the temperature may remain between 24 to 30 degrees.
Ludhiana- Yesterday evening the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.4 degrees. It will be cloudy. There is a possibility of rain. Today the temperature can remain between 24 to 33 degrees.
