Merger with India gains momentum |Live Updates,Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Muzaffarabad (PoK), Islamabad: People are agitating for their rights in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Not only this but now that movement is gaining momentum. There citizens have protested against the brutality of Pakistan Police, Pakistan Rangers (Border Police) and officials.

At present, when Lok Sabha elections are going on in India, the ruling party BJP is talking about P.O.K. It is promising to connect with the country. In the report presented by CNN News-18, officials have said that the protesters are being severely suppressed and Pakistan is losing its hold on this area.

The clashes between local people with the authorities in Muzaffarabad and Rawalkot testify to this. Posters demanding merger with India have been put up in Rawalkot. At many places, people of PoK are seen hoisting the tricolor flag of India.

The world knows that Pakistan has been illegally occupying some parts of Jammu and Kashmir for decades. In fact, inflation is out of control, unemployment, heavy taxes, grain extraction, and hydropower generated in PoK are being sent directly to Pakistan instead of being given to the natives of PoK. That's why the people there are very angry. Still they were protesting peacefully against it. Then Pakistan Police and Rangers lathicharged. Tear gas was released into the air. Two girls died in Rawalakot due to this tear gas. Hence, the situation in Pakistan occupied Kashmir was like a raging fire, riots broke out at many places as if an explosion was about to happen. The protesters also burnt an army vehicle.

The situation has gone out of control after the death of two girls due to tear gas shells. An official of India's intelligence agency, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that these demonstrations prove how hollow Pakistan's claims of solidarity with Kashmiris are.

People beat up the officer who ordered lathi charge and tear gas against the peaceful protestors.

Leader of the agitators, Shokhannawaz Mir, said late reports indicate that Pakistan Police and Pakistan Rangers have also opened fire from helicopters as large-scale rioting continues today. The storm that started on Friday has still not subsided.
