Mercatola Lamps in-charge issued order to terminate service of four computer operators, investigation continues | News India

Kanker, September 13 (HS). The Lamps in-charge of Markatola paddy procurement centre of the district has issued an order of termination of service of four computer operators Jugesh Sonvanshi, Poonam Chand Sonwani, Harbans Jain and Sana Ali. In this case, Deputy Commissioner of Cooperation SL Dugga says that the in-charge does not have the right to terminate anyone's service, he can take a decision with the consent of all by placing a proposal in the committee meeting. But at present the committee is dissolved, so an investigation is being conducted as to how they issued the order.

According to the information received, four operators Jugesh Sonvanshi, Poonam Chand Sonwani, Harbans Jain and Sana Ali were working as contract computer operators for 12 to 15 years at Markatola paddy procurement center. Lamps in-charge Santosh Rajput issued an order of termination of service on completion of 12 months on 31 August. Lamps in-charge argued that the four had not applied for the job again. The operators allege that in their 17 years of service, they were reappointed every year after completion of 12 months, for the first time they were asked to apply in the department. The computer operator alleges that Lamps in-charge is doing such acts deliberately to harass them and even though he does not have the authority to terminate their service, he has issued the order.
