Mentally ill youth dies after being crushed by a tractor in Gumla

Gopal Asur (19) of the village died after being crushed when a tractor overturned while ploughing a field in Sakhuapani village under Gurdari police station area of ​​Bishunpur in Gumla district. On receiving the information, Gurdari police sent the body to Sadar Hospital Gumla for post-mortem on Sunday morning.

According to the information, Gopal was ploughing the field on Sunday with Anil Asur's tractor from the same village. During this time the tractor got stuck in the mud. The driver and the owner left the tractor in the field and went home in the evening. Meanwhile, mentally ill Gopal Asur reached the tractor and started it directly and pressed the accelerator. Due to this, the vehicle standing in front overturned directly, in which he got trapped and he died on the spot. On getting information about the incident, the villagers tried every possible way to lift the tractor but the tractor did not come out. After informing the police station, the police station in-charge Dheeraj Kumar Singh removed the tractor on Sunday morning with the help of JCB and Poklane machine and the body was taken out and sent to Sadar Hospital Gumla for postmortem.
