Members of the all-party meeting expressed gratitude to Keshav Prasad Maurya for providing cashless medical facilities to Shikshamitras, instructors, cooks and non-teaching staff.

Today, under the chairmanship of Leader of the House, Legislative Council and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, an all-party meeting was held in Assembly Room No. 77 on various important topics related to Basic Education, Secondary Education, Higher Education and Finance Department, in which various topics related to teachers, Shiksha Mitras, instructors, cooks and non-teaching staff of the state were discussed in detail. In the meeting, Minister of Higher Education Yogendra Upadhyay, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Secondary Education Smt. Gulab Devi Ji, Legislative Council Leader of Opposition Shri Lal Bihari Yadav, Honorable Legislative Council Member Shri Rajbahadur Singh Chandel, Dr. Akash Aggarwal, Shri Dhruv Kumar Tripathi, Dr. Babu Lal Tiwari, Shri Saket Mishra, Dr. Man Singh Yadav, Dr. Ashutosh Sinha along with other honorable members of Basic, Senior officials of secondary, higher education and finance departments were also present. During the meeting, members put forward their suggestions and views on various important issues related to teachers and other personnel working in basic education, secondary education and higher education sector. The members presented their views to the government on the issues related to teachers and various sections of the education system, their facilities and their interests. On this occasion, important steps taken by the state government for various sections of the education sector were also discussed. The decision to provide medical facilities especially to Shikshamitras, instructors and cooks as well as teachers and non-teaching staff working in aided and self-finance institutions, primary and upper primary schools, secondary schools and colleges was welcomed.

It was also mentioned in the meeting that the benefit of cashless medical facility is also being provided to the teachers, non-teaching staff, Shikshamitras, instructors and cooks working in the schools run by the Basic Education, Secondary Education, Social Welfare Department, Labor Department and Minority Welfare Department in the state. Describing this decision of the government as an important and welfare step in the interest of the wide section of the education sector, all the honorable members present in the meeting expressed their thanks and gratitude to the state government. Honorable members said that to strengthen the education system, it is not only necessary to provide better educational environment in schools and colleges, but it is also necessary to take special care of the welfare and social security of teachers, non-teaching staff and every personnel associated with the education system. In this direction, the expansion of cashless medical facility is an important relief for teachers and other personnel. Describing the all-party discussions on various issues related to education departments in the meeting as positive and constructive, the members said that mutual communication and cooperation is important to make the education system more effective, quality and strong. The suggestions and ideas received in the meeting were also discussed regarding necessary action to be taken by the concerned departments. During the meeting, a detailed discussion took place in a cordial atmosphere on various topics among the honorable members and departmental officers present. All parties expressed their commitment to strengthen the education system of the state and to give priority to the interests of teachers and education related personnel.
