Ajmer, 22 May (H.I.S.). Many members of Seva Bharti Samiti, Ajmer learned basic life support techniques under disaster management at Mittal Hospital and Research Center on Wednesday.
Mittal Hospital's Pain Physician Dr Rohitash Sharma trained the participants on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). He gave information about providing immediate relief to the victim in case of cardiac arrest, falling unconscious or falling due to dizziness.
This workshop, organized in the auditorium of Mittal Hospital, lasted for about two hours. Under the chairmanship of the hospital's Vice President (Operations) Dr. Vidya Dayama, this workshop was conducted by the hospital's Quality Officer Kavita Lalwani (NABH Assessor) and Officer Fire Safety Deepak Bhati taught the use of fire extinguisher. ICN Margaret Daniel and Emergency Unit Nursing Incharge Ramveer Singh gave detailed information on the subject of caution related to taking the seriously injured to the hospital for treatment with proper care in case of natural disaster, road accident and other accidents. During this, the trainees were explained in detail through power presentation. The trainees said that the workshop will prove useful for the society and helpful in disaster management.
Mohanlal Khandelwal, head of disaster management dimension of Seva Bharti Chittor province, while addressing the program on this occasion, expressed his gratitude to Mittal Hospital management Sunil Mittal, Dr. Dilip Mittal and Manoj Mittal and said that the hospital is playing an important role in the society as its motto 'Aapka Swasthya Rakshak'. He said that the disaster management workshop will definitely prove to be very useful. If we are able to save the life of even one person from danger in an emergency situation by using the techniques learned in the workshop, then that will be the real appreciation of this workshop. Khandelwal said that the human body itself is a box of disasters. We should keep ourselves regular and restrained and also protect ourselves from many internal disasters. Khandelwal expressed his gratitude to the team of Mittal Hospital who provided training on this occasion and presented mementoes and distributed appreciation letters to the trainees on behalf of Seva Bharti.
Seva Bharti Samiti Ajmer Metropolitan Minister Jitendra Singh Shekhawat expressed gratitude to everyone. He told that around one hundred members of Seva Bharti, project head teachers and workers participated in this workshop. Seva Bharti's Ajmer Metropolitan President Ghanshyam Dani, Vice President Chandra Shekhar Sharma, Metropolitan Co-Minister Brijesh Sharma, Education Dimension Head Gopal Singh Kushwaha, Medical Dimension Head Suresh Dadhich and all Seva Bharti members were present in the workshop.
