Mega ticket checking campaign started from Dhanbad to Singrauli station, 1878 passengers caught

Ramgarh, 22 May (HS). Mega ticket checking campaign was once again conducted on a large scale in Dhanbad division on Wednesday. During this period, 1878 passengers were caught unauthorized. About Rs 10 lakh has been collected from him as fine. In this regard, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Amresh Kumar said that along with the mega ticket checking campaign in various sections of Dhanbad division, intensive ticket checking was conducted in Dhanbad, Gomo, Koderma, Daltonganj, Chopan, Barkakana, Singrauli stations. A total of 1878 passengers were caught as a result of the operation. Which included passengers traveling without tickets, passengers traveling without proper authorisation, passengers traveling with unbooked luggage. During this period, an amount of Rs 09 lakh 98 thousand 55 was collected from them as fine and strict instructions were given.

170 railway personnel were deployed in the campaign

170 ticket checking personnel were deployed in the checking operation. Checking was also done by the checking teams at stations and in various mail/express trains. Ticket checking campaign was conducted on the instructions of Divisional Railway Manager. This type of ticket checking campaign has been run by Dhanbad division earlier also and will continue in future also. The aim of this campaign is to curb passengers traveling without tickets, so that they travel with tickets next time. Passengers traveling with proper tickets should not face any kind of trouble due to passengers traveling without tickets.É
