New Delhi, June 25 (HS). A meeting was held at the All India Congress Party headquarters. The strategy to be adopted in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections was discussed in the two-hour meeting. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal were mainly present in it.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge shared his views on the meeting held on Tuesday on social media. He said that after Maharashtra gave a clear message in the Lok Sabha elections, the country is now looking towards change. We fought the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra in completely opposite circumstances. In such a situation, we will start preparing for the Maharashtra Assembly elections from now itself.
Congress President Kharge said in his post, “I congratulate every leader and worker of Maharashtra Congress, booth agents for the good performance of the party and we thank the people of Maharashtra.” He further said that Congress had made Maharashtra the most prosperous and developed state of the country, but the BJP government has ruined the industry. The people have been pushed into the vicious circle of unemployment and inflation. Injustice has been done to the farmers.
