Ghaziabad, 07 May (Hindustan Reporter). Meerut Division Commissioner Selva Kumari J held a meeting of the concerned departments in the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) auditorium on Tuesday regarding the feasibility study of the Eastern Orbital Rail Corridor project. In the meeting, DGM of Haryana Rail Avasarchana Vikas Nigam Limited, Abha Gupta presented the plan. Divisional Commissioner directed to form a separate team for survey and data collection of the areas attached to the corridor project. GDA Vice President Atul Vats and officials of many departments participated in this meeting.
In this meeting, HRIDC discussed the alignment of about 135 km of Eastern Orbital Rail Corridor, proposed finance structure, benefits of the corridor, potential stakeholders, traffic estimates study under scope of work, financial analysis, drone videography and methodology, inception and delivery under deliverables. Details regarding Desk Study Report, Draft Feasibility Study Report and Final Feasibility Study Report, team composition and key experts, cost of work/stages of payment and desired data collection from Uttar Pradesh Government were presented.
Officials of departments like Haryana Railway Infrastructure Development Corporation Gurugram, Ghaziabad Development Authority, Meerut Development Authority, Noida Development Authority, Yamuna Expressway Authority, UPSRTC, UPSIDA, NHAI, NCR Cell etc. participated in the meeting.
