Raipur 2 October (His). Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has given necessary instructions on Wednesday regarding organizing medical camps at major identified places of the state for the convenience of the general public during Shardiya Navratri. Following the instructions, the Commissioner cum Director Health Services has issued a letter to all the Divisional Joint Directors Health Services and all the Chief Medical and Health Officers (CMHO) and Civil Surgeon cum Chief Hospital Superintendent of the state.
According to this, the festival of Shardiya Navratri is starting from 3rd October. In the state, during the festival of Navratri, there is more traffic by the common people from Panchami to Dussehra than on normal days. Therefore, the Health Department has been instructed to identify such crowded places and organize medical camps at the block level in coordination with the district administration. Along with this, instructions have been given to ensure the arrangement of proper medical and other staff, adequate medicines, 24-hour ambulance and publicity material and other necessary materials in all the major identified places.
