Dehradun, 26 November (HS). Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), the construction work of 240 EWS (Economically Weaker Section) houses is in progress in Dhaulas area. On Tuesday, Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) Vice Chairman Banshidhar Tiwari inspected the construction site and directed the officials to maintain high quality in the construction work.
On this occasion, MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari said that the objective of this ambitious project is to provide affordable and furnished housing to the people of economically weaker sections. These houses being built under Dhaulas Housing Scheme are being prepared as per the parameters of PM Awas Yojana. Their construction work is progressing rapidly and efforts are being made to complete the project within the time limit. Vice President Tiwari said that it is the effort of the government to provide housing facilities to every needy person. This project being built in Dhaulas is an important step. On this occasion, senior MDDA officials, project managers and other employees engaged in the construction work were present.
