Mathura, 08 March (Hindus). On the festival of Mahashivratri, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteers along with ghosh players worshiped at Shiva temples. During this, 14 compositions related to Lord Shiva were presented through gong playing.
On the occasion of Mahashivratri festival, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteers praised Lord Bholenath by playing gongs at the Shiv Temple located at Sararfa Bazaar in Vrindavan, Mathura and at the Shivalaya at Vankhandi Mahadev. The whole atmosphere became full of devotion due to the praise of Lord Shiva by the volunteers through gong playing.
Out of the volunteers gathered on the occasion of Mahashivratri, 36 volunteers presented 14 compositions. All these compositions were based on classical ragas. In which Shivranjani Kiran, Uday Bhu, Nirbhay Chetak, Rajhans Dhvani, Bhoop Raga etc. were prominent. During this time the devotees present there enjoyed worshiping Shiva.
Regarding the playing of Ghosh on the festival of Mahashivratri, Municipal Executive Sanjay told that on Mahashivratri, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh celebrates All India Ghosh Day. The Sangh has been working since 1925 to unite all sections of the Hindu society and mobilize them. In the same sequence, this gloating frees us from all evils and inspires us to worship the nation with a joyful heart.
Co-district publicity head Vijay Raghav told about Sangh and Ghosh that Sangh connects the individual and the society. Whereas Ghosh is to the mind and soul. Music is a spiritual practice, this spiritual practice leads to perfection through regular practice.
On this occasion, District Executive Arun Dixit, Co-District Publicity Chief Vijay, Municipal Association Driver Prem Shankar Vaidya, City Extension Officer Krishna Kant Joshi, Physical Chief Kanhaiya Kumar, Co-Sujan Singh, Girraj Sharma, Girdhar Vaidya, Shubham Diwakar, Gopal, Anshraj, Naitik , Prashant, Deepesh, Aryan, Gaurav, Keshav and other volunteers were present.
