Mathura: Truck collides with car, three including mother and son of Delhi family killed


Mathura, 11 April (HIST). The car of a family coming from Delhi to Vrindavan for Bihari Ji Darshan was hit by a speeding truck on Agra-Delhi Highway Jait police station area on Thursday evening. Three including mother and son died in the accident, while two others including a child were seriously injured. The police reached the information and sent the bodies of the deceased to the mortuary of the post-mortem house and took the damaged car off the road.

Deepak, resident of Punjabi Bagh Semsuda Colony, Delhi, his mother Snehlata, father Gyan Chandra and Deepak's friend's wife Preeti Tyagi and a child were coming to Vrindavan on Thursday to have darshan of Banke Bihari ji. A speeding truck hit his car near Allahpur village of Jaint police station area on Agra Delhi Highway. In the accident, 33 year old Deepak Kanojia, son of Gyan Chand, his mother 55 year old Sneh Lata, wife of Gyan Chand and friend's wife, 26 year old Preeti Tyagi, wife of Vishal Tyagi, resident of Garh Delhi, died on the spot, while the father and a child were injured. Jaint police station reached the information and sent the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem and informed other family members. The injured father and child have been admitted for treatment, where their condition remains critical.
