This angered the match referee and punished him. Both these omissions of Harshit are considered violations of Level-1 of the code of conduct. The player has breached the provisions of Article 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct, as a result of which he has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee for the first offence. Then on repeating the same mistake, a fine of 50 percent of the match fee was imposed. Thus, a total fine of 60 percent of the match fee has been imposed on the player. Harshit has also apologized for his mistake.
