Varanasi, July 30 (HS). On the coming 11th August, the Marwari-Vaishya community has decided to do a collective Jalabhishek of Shri Kashi Vishwanath, wishing for happiness, peace and prosperity. Minister in the state government Ravindra Jaiswal held a meeting with the officials of the community regarding the collective Jalabhishek. Kashi Vishwanath Vaishya Jalabhishek Committee was also formed in the meeting.
According to the Minister of State, it was decided in the meeting that every year on the fourth Sunday of the month of Savan, the Marwari-Vaishya community will organize a program of collective Jalabhishek. He said that on August 11 at 9 am, people of the community, mothers and sisters will start the yatra with drums and trumpets, carrying urns filled with cow milk, Panchamrit, sugarcane juice along with water from many holy rivers including Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati, Saryu, Rishikesh, Prayagraj Sangam. The yatra will start from Godaulia intersection and will end at Shri Vishwanath temple premises.
R.K. Chaudhary, Deepak Bajaj, Umashankar Agarwal, K.K. Khemka, Ashok Agarwal, Pawan Agarwal, Ram Bubna, Anand Ladia, Rachna Agarwal etc. participated in the meeting.
