Lahore, Islamabad: Pakistan's Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has made serious allegations against jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan. She said that Imran's residence is used to train terrorists. Petrol bombs are being made and training is being given to carry out attacks in the country.

He said that over the course of four months, Khan had planned to attack government buildings and major army camps on May 9, 2023, when the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insafana (PTI) leader pretended to be injured in his leg.

According to the Express Tribune report, Maryam criticised the PTI and accused it of spreading chaos in the country and focusing only on harming the state.
