Mary Kom's advice to Indian boxers for Paris Olympics – follow proper training and recovery

New Delhi, June 13 (HS). Olympic medalist boxer Mary Kom wished all the boxers representing India at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics and gave them some important advice related to training and recovery. Mary was speaking at the closing ceremony of the 20th Self Defense Technique Summer Camp-2024 for Girls in Delhi.

Speaking to the media, Mary said, “I wish all the boxers all the best. I hope they return with medals, although I cannot tell how much I expect from the team, because boxing is a sport in which you lose and do not get a second chance. I hope they get a good draw as well.”

Advising the boxers representing the country, Mary said they should follow a proper diet, training schedule and have adequate recovery.

He said, “Keep your preparation good. Follow a proper diet and follow proper recovery. You should not be mentally disturbed, the focus should be strong. Even in the Games Village, they have to focus on proper training and recovery.”
